As the CAT's Research Assistant, Youngseo works on faculty development, and Scholarship of Teaching & Learning projects. Also, Youngseo is a current doctoral student at the College of Education and Human Development, concentrating on Literacy and Learners. Youngseo worked as an assistant researcher at the Korea Institute of Curriculum & Evaluation and has some teaching experience with students from elementary to high school.

Youngseo earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Korean Language Education from Korea University in South Korea. Youngseo is interested in how to improve students' reading motivation and comprehension in various contexts. Youngseo enjoys running, watching superhero dramas/movies, and exploring a must-go restaurant when he is not working.
