As the Associate Director of Inclusion Initiatives, Linda works with the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs on inclusive teaching and mentoring programs that foster a sense of belonging, and support the success of both students and faculty. A first-generation scholar with a Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA and over two decades of teaching and mentoring experience, Linda is deeply committed to holistic and reflective teaching practices that prioritize students’ well-being and honor the diverse lived experiences they bring to the Temple University community.

At the Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT), Linda offers consultations, classroom observations, and workshops on inclusive teaching, hybrid/in-person/online course design, developing teaching and diversity statements, and facilitating challenging discussions. She co-facilitates the Teaching for Equity Institute, the Provost Teaching Academy, New Faculty Orientation, and TA Orientation as well as customized workshops for the entire university, including Temple Japan and Temple Rome. In 2021, Linda founded the AAPI Faculty & Staff Affinity Group at Temple University.

She has published on inclusive pedagogy in The Journal of Political Science Education, co-edited Perspectives of Educational Developers of Color, (Routledge/Taylor & Francis, 2025) and is co-authoring a book on digital storytelling (under contract with Routledge).

Linda also serves as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Diversity and Equity in Educational Development (JDEED).
