In her role as Assistant Director of Digital and Emerging Technologies at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, Jennifer partners closely with faculty to enhance teaching and learning through thoughtful and effective use of technology. She provides individualized consultations, manages the CAT Production studio, and facilitates workshops that help instructors select, evaluate, and implement digital tools that support their pedagogical goals. Her work emphasizes guiding faculty through the use of digital media for course design and content creation, as well as integrating technology into in‑person, virtual, and hybrid learning environments to strengthen student engagement.

Jennifer is highly experienced with audio and video production tools, such as the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and a range of creative programming platforms. She particularly enjoys collaborating with faculty to explore technology options—whether widely used or more experimental—and identifying creative approaches that align with the goals and needs of a course.

Jennifer earned an M.F.A. in Design and Technology from the San Francisco Art Institute. She has taught new media and technology‑adjacent courses in higher education for two decades and previously served as Program Director of Photography. Her professional and creative practice continues to engage emerging technologies, including augmented and virtual reality, video and sound design, and interactive media.
