A student's life outside the classroom can have far-reaching impacts on their performance in our courses. Our students have a wide range of needs, but the resources available at the individual instructor level are limited. No instructor can be all things to all students. The following resources can help bridge that gap.

Academic Resource Center
The Academic Resource Center serves university studies students, continuing studies students, international students and students in transition. Advising students on which path might be best for them, helping them choose a major, transfer elsewhere, seek professional development or personal enrichment.
CARE Team
The CARE Team (Crisis, Assessment, Response, Education) is comprised of diverse representatives from key student support offices across the University (ex. Tuttleman Counseling Services, Disability Resources and Services, TUPD, etc.). Referrals to the CARE Team are coordinated through the Case Management Staff in the Dean of Students Office. The CARE Team’s role is to determine effective strategies for addressing the concern and identifying the responsible parties for enacting those strategies.
Career Center
The Temple University Career Center is a central resource that builds collaborative relationships among the Temple community, and empowers students and alumni through comprehensive career development services, driving successful careers.
Charles Library
Temple University Libraries hold a collection of over 500 electronic research databases, 3 million volumes, thousands of videos, and specialized rare, archival and primary research collections. A staff of dedicated, expert librarians is committed to helping faculty and students achieve research and educational success.
Cherry Pantry
The Cherry Pantry’s mission is to combat hunger in the Temple community by supplying nutritious emergency food while providing equal treatment to all who visit the pantry. The Cherry Pantry's vision is a Temple community where student success is not undermined by hunger. Located in the Student Center, Room 224A.
Dean of Students Helpful Resources

Disability Resources and Service Services Center
The Disability Resources and Services Center (DRS) is responsible for ensuring that reasonable accommodations are available for students with disabilities at all campus locations. Additionally, this office can help answer questions about how to address student accommodations in your courses.
Student Affairs Emergency Fund
The purpose of the Student Affairs Emergency Fund is to provide short-term financial assistance with unusual or unforeseen circumstances.
Student Success Center
The Student Success Center (SSC) is a comprehensive "one-stop-shop" academic support center serving graduate and undergraduate students at Temple University. The Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL) embodies Temple University's commitment to sustain and nurture a strong inclusive campus community, capitalizing on our demographic diversity to inspire meaningful engagement across identity groups in all their various forms.
Tuttleman Counseling Center
Currently registered students are eligible for Tuttleman Counseling Center (TCS) services. Individuals who have the primary role of employee at Temple University who are taking classes will be referred to outside providers or the Employee Assistance Program. All members of the Temple community are welcome to use our online referral database in order to access referrals to community providers.
Wellness Resource Center
The Wellness Resource Center (WRC) provides comprehensive wellness education, resources, and preventative health strategies to Temple University students in order to empower them to make healthy choices. The office addresses a wide variety of health issues including nutrition, sexual health and contraception, mental health, substance abuse, and much more.
