Center for the Advancement of Teaching

Shawn is a Lead Educational Technology Specialist at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching.  In this role, Shawn sees himself as an assistant in overseeing the operation of the Instructional Technology Centers at Main, Ambler, and Health Sciences Center.  His responsibilities include supporting faculty on the use of instructional technology tools in teaching and learning, assisting executive staff with the development of specialized Blackboard Organizations for Schools/Colleges Tenure and Promotion, and Merit Nominations amongst departments, and also evaluating new and rising instructional technology tools.

Shawn enjoys working with faculty and exploring new instructional related tools.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management in 2000 at Temple and has been with Temple since.
