Emtinan Alqurashi, Ed.D.

Assistant Director of Educational Technology, Center for the Advancement of Teaching

As an Assistant Director of Educational Technology at the Center for the Advancement of Teaching, Emtinan works with Temple teaching community to improve online education and the integration of educational technology in traditional, hybrid, and online courses to enhance student learning. In her role, she facilitates sessions on online teaching and learning as well as teaching with technology to foster students engagement and learning. She also leads the EdTech Student Partners Program, facilitates book studies, faculty learning communities, and provides one-on-one consultations in all areas related to online education and educational technology. Emtinan earned her doctoral degree in Instructional Technology and Leadership from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA and earned her master’s degree in Digital Technologies, Communication and Education from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. Emtinan continues to present her work at local, national, and international conferences and continues to publish her research in journals in the field.
