As the CAT’s Postdoctoral Fellow, Benjamin works on numerous research, grant writing, and faculty development projects. In addition, he acts as the CAT’s consultant for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and research in general for faculty from across the university. Benjamin is also an adjunct faculty member at Temple’s College of Education where he teaches a course on adolescent development. Benjamin is active in the local and national educational community as well, serving on a board of a local high school and as Chair of the American Psychological Association’s Educational Psychology Division Policy Committee.
Benjamin earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Temple University where he also earned his Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree. Benjamin earned his B.A. in Psychology from Dickinson College. When he is not working, Benjamin enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and taking naps with his cat.
