We are not just “brains on sticks”. Viewing the mind, body, and brain as integrated within a system that processes information, sensations, and emotions has important implications for how we approach the teaching and learning process. How might we foreground mind-body-brain connections when designing learning activities and engaging students? What are strategies applicable to a range of disciplines that help awaken these connections and deepen learning? How can these strategies be adapted for online settings? Join us in a series of conversations that explore these and other questions about mind-body-brain connections in teaching and learning.
We will hold two sessions in this conversation series:
Tuesday, September 21, 3:00 - 4:30 (Online) Tuesday, October 26, 3:00 - 4:30 (Online)
Please register for each session separately.
