Digital Storytelling as an Inclusive Teaching Practice

October 5, 2021 - 10:30am to 12:00pm
Hosted online via Zoom

As the diversity of our students increases, it is necessary to consider how our teaching practices can support the success of underrepresented students and help them feel a greater sense of belonging in the classroom. In this workshop, we will consider how digital storytelling can be an effective inclusive teaching practice, inviting students to tell their stories in creative ways. We will discuss the value this practice can bring to the classroom, identify various digital storytelling technology tools and approaches, and guide you through thinking about how you can design digital storytelling activities for your own unique course context.

The CAT will send a Zoom access link to this webinar via email one hour prior to the session.
