November 20, 2020 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm

In this long awaited follow-up collection of essays, courageous Women of Color share their stories of survival and success in the academy. Their powerful testimonials of the systemic barriers and biases they faced move us to challenge the policies, practices, and cultures that impede the inclusion and advancement of Women of Color in academia. Join your colleagues at the CAT to discuss how you can use the lessons embedded in these stories to create an environment of greater equity.

This book group will be held in three sessions:

  • Friday, November 6, 12:00-1:30pm
  • Friday, November 13, 12:00-1:30pm
  • Friday, November 20, 12:00-1:30pm

Registration for the first session will serve as registration for the subsequent sessions.

Participants will have access to the online version of this book through Temple Libraries.

The facilitator will send an access link to this webinar via email prior to the session.
